Material Characteristics

  1. Ultra-Low Carbon Property

    • Carbon content ≤0.02%, preventing carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion at temperatures above 316°C, suitable for long-term high-temperature service.

  2. Exceptional Physical Properties

    • High Thermal & Electrical Conductivity: Thermal conductivity ~70 W/m·K, low resistivity (0.096 μΩ·m), ideal for electronic components and heat dissipation parts.

    • High-Temperature Stability: Melting point 1435–1445°C, stable mechanical properties below 815°C with outstanding creep resistance.

  3. Corrosion Resistance

    • Alkaline Environments: Corrosion rate of only 0.03 mm/y in boiling 60% NaOH, far superior to stainless steel (e.g., SUS 304: 13.3 mm/y).

    • Reductive Media: Resistant to HCl, H₂SO₄ (non-oxidizing), and HF, but vulnerable to strong oxidizers like HNO₃.

  4. Flexible Mechanical Performance

    • Annealed state: Tensile strength ≥345 MPa, elongation ≥30%.

    • Cold-worked state: Strength exceeds 800 MPa, suitable for stamping, spinning, and forming processes.
